Hi Everyone,
New member based in East Devon. Long time fly angler, only fished salt on holiday in Florida, keen to try catching some from our local beaches/estuaries, particularly Bass. I'd be very grateful for any tips and advice on where/when/how to fish in my area. I've been told Starcross near Exmouth is well worth a visit - anyone fished there?
Great site, btw, lots of good info, glad to have found you..!

Hi All.

Hopefully this is the correct place to post a 'hello'. :D

Been an obsessive fisho since knee high to a grasshopper, love all aspects of angling but the last dozen or so years a Swoffa that has spent too much money and some would say time on chasing our finned friends in saltwater.

Am headed back to Australia in September of this year (this will be my 21st trip, don't ask, and a permanant one'ish  ') and can't wait to get back to OZ and chase some of the speedsters out there again.

As I said, very little money, but have had a ball chasing fish all over the place.

Still learning to this day and hopefully I will be pick up some valuable info from fellow fishos on this site.

So there you have it, poor, some would say homeless (I prefer to call it 'Nomadic' ) but had a ball along the way and great news to have discovered this forum.

Cheers Tony.

Hi everyone,
As the user name suggests I am from North Wales and keen on having a go at SWFF.
Having spent much of my life fly fishing for Trout, Sea trout and Salmon fancied a change in direction.
I have fished in Florida for tarpon and redfish (photos to follow).

Not had my first trip out yet, but will report on how I get on.
Now where is that fly gear?

Hi guys, I'm a social fisherman and live in Surrey. I'm looking forward to getting back into kayak fishing next season and targeting bass in particular. Any helpful tips and advice will be most welcome. Cheers

Welcome Jim. BTW, I deleted your 2nd membership request! Anyway, don't hold your breath waiting for posts - this forum is rarely used any more.
