Hi Folks

Been stalking you for several months but have now come out the closet having tooled myself up for SWFF and done my first trip. Read about my first failure (of many, I'm sure) in the Catch Reports section - 'Cambois or Cuba'.

My main focus (until now) has been wild Brown Trout in Stillwater which is a pity as there aren't many of those in Northumberland (any more). So apart from trips to Scotland I go to places that look like Wild Brown Trout lochs and pretend not to notice when the fish come out of the water with a rainbow down the side. Don't take that the wrong way, I ain't no Trout snob and have much fun with our neutered American cousins! I specialise in dry fly and have been rather successful which is why I need to move to SWFF before my head swells too much (only kidding).

I look forward to not catching a variety of sea fish over my remaining years given the rather limited opportunties in North East England but if I do actually catch anything, watch this space!!!!

When unable to cast a fly I am known to enjoy catching Mackerel under a float in the 3 months that passes for their season up here. Great fun and good to eat - but even better to put in my Lobster pots - hence the tag . . . . . . .

Really pleased to be joining such a friendly, welcoming, sharing and knowledgeable crew.
