Hi All,

Just joined the forum.

I've been fly fishing for a while but only freshwater on Scottish Rivers, English Chalk Streams and Lakes. Although I went to the Florida Keys a few years ago and caught 150LB Black Tip Shark on a fly rod. But that's another story. Brother has just made me a SW fly rod, 9ft 9wt. Casts like a dream but now need to break it in.

Heading to the Dorset Coast in a few weeks time with a friend and a camper van to see what we can catch. Was thinking around Portland Bill, Studland Bay etc. Any advice would be great otherwise I hope one day to be posting some pics here.

S

when were you thinking of going? It's been so slow to get going this year, that the dorset rock marks may be lagging a bit behind.
