hi all im pete
i will be 33 at end of the month iv been a course fisherman for over 25 years i tuck up fly fishing almost 3 years ago.
iv targeted trout, carp, pike, pearch and tench on the fly with some good fish being court. i would like to try saltwater fly fishing this year so im trying to learn all i can about it before i go instead of just casting in hope. i hope to speak to some like minded people and make some new friends.

thanks for the welcome, i dont have any idea at the moment were i want to try swffing just that i do. i mean i would love to try it in the keys going for bone fish and snook but any bit of coast would do for me i just love to fish. i only ride a 125cc motorcycle at the moment so it would need to be not to far away. something that i need to think about.

Your right if you want to go for bonefish and snook i think your gonna need a bigger bike

Seriously though the Welsh coast might be your best bet for distance

to be honest that is about it i think at the min portcullis i was thinking maybe terryglass or portumna way as its only about 90 or so mile from me and can get there on A-roads as cant take bike on the motorway. or the other way and try fishtoft or holbeach way though it looks like mostly mud flats that way. with out jumping on a train to get to other areas and spending a night away from the missis and kids im stuck.
