Hey all, first post other than the "introduce yself one".
I have had 2 yak outings in the last week and was amazed to find the sea temperature had jumped from a bloody cold 6.2 all the way to a bloody cold 8.4.
I was under the opinion that it took weeks and weeks to change temperature? Hope this indicates some good fishing to come, we have seen a bit of action up here in the Isle of Man, the fish finder showed a huge bait ball of herring, about 20 feet by 15 being chased around my local bay, after lots of manic paddling we were able to get into them, although I have to admit it wasnt with a fly argggghh !!! A set of feathers on a spinning rod..
I am looking forward to a nice long summer drifting around searching for bass and mullet on the fly, which prolly means it will blow a gale and chuck it down all year  ..ahh well you can but hope.
Harv
