Hi folks. Looking for some advice. As the pack ice has yet to break up around my native north east, I am taking the opportunity (thanks to work) to spend a few days in Devon at the end of June. Does anyone know what the SWFFing opportunities are around the Langstone, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren areas? While I wouldn't expect full disclosure, might I stumble across a Mullet of any species in this area if I searched hard enough?

Grateful for any advice - couldn't find anything from this area trawling back through the forum catch reports.

Cheers.

The Lobster (except I may have to change this as the pots haven't gone out at all this year - too ****** cold)!

Whilst I haven't swffed there, I did spend alot of time fishing the area as a kid and teenager. The mouth of the river Exe would be worth a look (fierce tide, but good bass propects) and you may find some mullet mooching about round the back of the spit. The harbour at Starcross is worth a look too. Used to get big Gars around the seawall at Dawlish.

Happy childhood memories!

I'm with Si, I was wondering that too. As a long time Devonian I can't remember a Langstone down there...
