Hello UKSWFF forum,
I am new in the forum and also English is not my first language, so please be patient :-). I am Italian, but I have been living and working in Northampton since 2006. Last Summer my family and I, went to Fuerteventura. We didn't bring our fly rods (we didn't think about flyfishing at Fuerteventura) but anyway my son (11y) and I had very good days catching mullet with bread on the beach in shallow water using normal rods bought there. Now, I would like ask to forum where we can go for flyfishing the mullets in UK, reasonably near Northampton. Thank you for your help.

Wow...Northampton is not very close to any Mullet! Fortunately, Mullet are quite common around the shore in the UK. I can't give you any exact place to try as I am not sure what would be closest to you, but almost any estuary will have mullet in it. Try to find sheltered creeks and pools off the main estuaries, or harbours where the fish will come to feed. Sorry I can't help more but good luck!
