Hi Guys, i am off to Fuertevetura in May, staying in Caleta. looks very good for lure fishing with very big garfish / Bonito/ Bluefish and small tuna, but cant find any thing on fly fishing there.

Wondering if any one how visits this site, might have some info.

Dai.

My pal at Harrison's always packs his fly rod to Fuerteventura - goes every year as far as I know... and has had some reasonable days... when I next speak with him I'll get some info for you.

Thanks for you comments, some how missed you post.

I have found the shop you said about, so will suss out the area with him.

There seems to be some good mullet fishing, so will be taking my mullet bread flies.

Cheers again.

Dai.

Hey,

Not sure if you're still reading this thread but I would like to know how you got on in Fuerteventura. I am sick to the teeth of getting jealous of reading about other people's fishing holidays and would love to go the Canary Islands.

Is it a good holiday? The big game fishing looks great, was it the same for SWFFing? Any info would be much appreciated!
