Hi...I've been making and using Singaporean leaders for some time now. I find them spot on for both my SWFFing and my river fishing. I came across this vid on Youtube and in my opinion simplifies the matter no-end.

thanks for that, just had a go at making one worked first time
whats the best use for them is it for for dry fly/floating patterns or wets and lures or all :?:

You can make them for most applications. For lure fishing for Bass etc I tie them out of 10lb flourocarbon with a tippet of the same. If you need it to float ie: for nymphing or fishing dries I make it out of 5lb copolymer with whatever tippet BS (flouro will sink a floating fly and the end of your fly line) and grease it before I use it.

They're far better than just straight nylon and cost pennies to make. I'll make you a couple up if you want Mick. BTW I just got your txt as I don't get signal at home and yes definately too much time on my hands :| and yes, I've had eyes off Rich in the past, they're spot on.
